About

This blog is run by Phoebe Acheson of the blog Classics Librarian and Chuck Jones, the Tombros Librarian for Classics and Humanities at Penn State University and the blog AWOL- The Ancient World Online.

This blog is for discussion and development of a project to collect bibliographies about subjects relevant to studies of the ancient world (as NYU defines it – ‘from the Pillars of Hercules to the Pacific, from the beginnings of human habitation to the late antique / early Islamic period.’)  The bibliographies are collected at a dedicated wiki site and at the online platform Zotero.

We welcome your contributions to this project – please comment or email us if you would like to get involved!

    Hello,
During some researches for my own blog, I’ve found this bibliography about ptolemaic Egypt : http://bsa.biblio.univ-lille3.fr/ptolemaica.htm
It’s in french and the last update was made in february 2004 but I think it could be interesting for your project.
    Sincerely
    Michel Deniau
